New Trip to Guggenheim Museum

Jan Myers, the Chair of the ever-productive Trips Committee, informed us that a new trip to the Guggenheim Museum in NYC is scheduled for Wednesday, July 11.

The featured show will be "Giacometti" 1901-1966, a biographical exhibition of nearly 200 works by the Swiss artist best known for his sculptures of elongated human figures. Many of the works to be shown at the Guggenheim have never before been seen in the U.S.

As always, sign-up in the Activities Alcove for the trip is necessary.

Jan also advises us that there are short wait-lists for the June 21 Hudson River Cruise and the July 25 sojourn to the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk.
