Clearwater Chirpers

If you’re unfortunate enough to wind up in Clearwater, try to get assigned to a room with a bird feeder outside your window. A small team led by Annette Leyden keeps the birds well-fed and in competition with each other for the daily Feeding Frenzy. It’s more entertaining than WWE knock-down wrestling!

Residence Association Appeal

Cynthia Ferguson and Maria Harris, among others, are working hard to make this year’s Residence Association Appeal a success. The large plastic receptacle box for contribution will remain on the main desk for a few days in March. Make sure your 2024 check has found its way into the box.

Contemporary Issues Zoom Is Back

CIDG is back. Kendal’s Contemporary Issues Zoom Discussion Group allows residents to voice their opinions on a different topic each week (Thursday mornings at 10 am) All residents receive a notice of the upcoming discussion on Sunday. To join in, they receive a Zoom link on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Click on it, and you're part of the discussion.

Wanted: White Socks!

The sock collecting is up and running! Catch it now through to mid-March. Kendal is collecting white and only white socks for the local homeless. Again: this drive goes thru the middle of March. Drop off NEW white socks in any donation basket: Front Desk, the employee time clocks, and either Nursing stations in Clearwater. Remember: white, new, and thru mid-March.

Help for Low-Vision Problems
