YALE COMEDY IMPROV COMES TO KENDAL

Don't have enough laughter in your life? Here's your chance to chuckle a bit or even guffaw.

The Yale Comedy Improv Group which goes under the name - THE VIOLA QUESTION - is going to make a Kendal appearance on Saturday, October 15th at 3:00 PM in the Gathering Room.

TVQ tells us that they perform a mix of both short-term and long-term improv games that might make you laugh or cry - but make you think a little.
This will be something "different" so put it on your calendar  - 10/15 @ 3:00 PM

Martin Smolin’s response to the Website Committee’s Call for Proposals was accepted.

Martin proposed taking photos of various Common Areas, Furniture and Art Committee (CAFA) installations at KOH for posting on the website.

His first photograph (above) shows the CAFA-designed Library Art Book area in Clermont.  It appears on the CAFA Committee webpage in the Activities Committee part of the COUNCIL & CMMS section of the website.  Congratulations, Martin.

Computer Attack

No doubt you’ve seen you’ve seen the notice about a computer attack perpetrated on one of our Kendal residents – and paid little or no attention to it. “It won’t happen to me” is the usual thought that one concludes. Wrong! It can happen to you! Is there anything you can do to prepare yourself to see that your computer (and your every-day life) will not be affected?

YES! A FIRST STEP

The first thing you should do is read the Computer Committee’s “Avoiding Computer Attacks.” Click here to read it.

SECOND STEP

Do not to respond to a message even if it says it’s from Microsoft or Apple (even if it has their logo!).  2) Call for help.  3) Keep your computer backed up either by purchasing an external memory storage device or joining a memory storage service such as iDrive or Carbonite.

Your Computer Committee can help you choose the best choice for your individual need. Don’t be bashful! Call for help!
