Celebration of Life for Leonard Sand
The will be a Celebration of Life memorial meeting for Leonard Sand who passed away earlier this week.
The celebration will take place this Saturday, Dec. 10th at 4:00 PM in the Gathering Room.
All are welcome to attend.
Art Workshop -- Dec. 15th
If art is (or might be) your "thing", you're invited to have some fun with collage, accordion books (provided) and/or a simple form of printmaking using a thin foam, and, last but not least, watercolors.
Allison Harrison will be back to inspire the participants with her free and inventive approach.
No formal art experience is necessary. Only desire.
The workshop is limited to 12 people. The fee is $10 by check made out to the KoH Residents Association. The workshop takes place on Dec. 15th, 10:00 AM to Noon.

Kendal View Celebrates Joan Oltman's 12 years as Editor
The entire staff of Kendal View (pictured above) gathered December 1 to fete Joan Oltman for her role founding and editing Kendal View for the past 12 years. Although she is retiring from the View, she has agreed to be available for consultation when needed.
Fiber Arts Group Holds First Meeting Dec. 2

THE GIVE-and-TAKE TABLE will be available from Dec. 5th to Dec. 9th on the T-Level.
You are encouraged to bring useful items in good condition and take what you can use.

Trip Rescheduled
The Nov. 30th trip to the NY Historical Society which was cancelled has been rescheduled.
It will now take place on Wednesday, January 4th.
Residents who were confirmed for the November trip will have priority. Some space may be available for new participants.
The current exhibitions will still be on view on January 4th. They include, "The First Jewish Americans:Freedom and Culture in the New World", "The Battle of Brooklyn in the Revolutionary War" and Holiday Express: Toys and Trains from the Jerni Collection".
