Annimated Cartoons

Roadrunner.jpg

No one can say that Kendal isn't imaginative in the programs it presents at its Monday evening lectures.

On Monday June 18 at 7:30 pm, Kendal residents Steve Kanfer and Bill Pence will present an evening of animated cartoons, each one a classic directed by Chuck Jones.

The cartoons were part of the regular 1950  "block booking" of movies which featured  a main feature,  "B" picture, coming attractions, a newsreel, and then a cartoon.

The humor of the cartoons is permanent and plays as well today as in the 1950's.

Both Steve and Bill had long relationships with Chuck Jones, so what they have prepared should be enjoyed by all as well as a trip back to the 1950's, a time well- remembered by all at Kendal.
