Sustainability Committee

This is my short report for the Sustainability Committee. This committee has not been active for several years. That was after being very active for many years and being part of important achievements in the reduction of energy and the actual saving of energy cost at Kendal on Hudson.

For various reasons the committee ran out of energy in the last few years – at least in part related to Project Renew and has not been active for a number of years. Maybe this is the time to restart this committee.

The goals of the committee have not changed. On the other hand, conditions have changed so that goals that were unattainable for some time seem to have moved into reach again. So, restarting the committee is a fairly recent thought. I would like to have some conversations with the Administration and the Residents Council leadership and then prepare a detailed proposal for the restarting of the Sustainability Committee.
