Kendal on Hudson is not the easiest place in the world to get around. The confusing factor is caused by the fact that its four buildings are built on different levels on a sloping hill which almost goes down to the beautiful Hudson River.
Therefore, the floors in the various buildings are, indeed, at different levels. The first floor of one is at the same level as the second in an adjoining building, etc. It can be a little confusing especially to new residents or visitors.
To make things easier, a newly designed map of KoH and the main building (The Mary Powell Building where most of the services are located) is now available.
Residents can get a copy at the Marketing Office on Monday or Thursday from 3-5 pm-- if you can find your way there. If you get lost push your PET and we'll send out a rescue team.
