We're running out of superlatives about the kinds of trips available for Kendal residents.
The Trips Committee has just announced that on Wednesday, September 13, there will be an excursion to the NY Botanical Garden in the Bronx to see a major garden exhibition by Dale Chihuly, the renowned glass sculptor.
There will be new, site-specific, hand-blown stained glass sculptures that dazzle with color, light and form at the conservatory, visitor center and arboretum; drawings and paintings in the library.
Wow!
You should also know that there is space available for the August 23 trip to the American Museum of Natural History and the Sept. 6 NYC "Do Your Own Thing" (Metropolitan Museum of Art drop-off) excursion.
