New Trip to Wave Hill

Wave Hill.jpg

The ever-productive Trips Committee has scheduled a new outing for May 9. This one will be a docent tour of Wave Hill in the Bronx. Built as a country home in 1843 it has included Theodore Roosevelt, Mark Twain, and Arturo Toscanini as tenants.

Now owned by NYC it is now a public garden and cultural center. This 28 acre estate with its historic buildings and vistas is an exciting place to visit.

As usual, sign up in the Activities Alcove.  Do it quickly as this trip will fill up very soon.

P.S. There is a short wait list for the April 18 visit to the Katonah Museum of Art.
