If it becomes necessary for you to be taken to the hospital. it is absolutely essential that your vital information go with you. If you don’t have it available or know where it is, keep reading!
On Tuesday October 22 from 2 pm to 4 pm, PACE nursing students will be available to assist anyone needing help with gathering important information for their emergency bags which should be hanging on a hook or hanger in the closet nearest your apartment’s front door.
A table will be set up on T-Level right outside the RCC. When the EMS arrives for an emergency, they require these documents:
FACE SHEET (including allergies, medical history, emergency contact)
2. Medication list
3. MOLST/DNR (if applicable)
4. Health Care Proxy (if applicable)
5. Living Will (if applicable)
We hope you will take advantage of the students in helping you review/replace your emergency bag contents. You may bring your current emergency bag down for review as well. Hope to see you there!
