There are three digital workshops in January, and the password for the Residents Only page of the Residents Website will change.
Wednesday, January 1, the password for the Residents Only page of the Residents Website will be updated. If you are on the Kendal email list and receive the Residents Website News every week, you will be informed of the new password on December 31.
Wednesday, January 8, Dr. Pierre Darmon of Westchester PC Users Group will discuss ways of moving from Windows 7 to Windows 10 in the Gathering Room from 1:30-3pm. Microsoft will stop providing security updates for Windows 7 in mid-January.
Saturday, January 11, from 2 pm to 4 pm, resident Computer Committee volunteers and a Hackley School student will be available to help you with various types of smartphones, tablets, or computers.
Bring your charged smartphone, tablet, or laptop, your power cord, and your password to a free Computer Committee Digital Help Session at the Residents Association Office on C Level near Clermont Bridge OR request a Hackley School Student and Computer Committee Volunteer to come to your apartment to help you with your computer.
