The Music Committee announced two outstanding concerts to kick off Kendal’s 2020 concert series.
On January 12 we will have “Steel Passion” the steel drum band of Christ Episcopal Church in Tarrytown. This group returns for its 5th Kendal performance. Lively, infectious music ranging from calypso, to pop, to classical, to liturgical will make for the variety of music that Kendal residents have come to love over the years.
On January 26 we will welcome the Katherine Nesbit Ensemble, presenting a program “Immortal Beloved -- Songs and Letters of the Great Composers” (Schumann, Brahms, Mozart, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Vaughan- Williams, Bernstein, Barber, and Copeland).
Both concerts are on Sunday at 3:00 pm in the Gathering Room.
