On Sunday, June 9 at 3:00 pm, Kendal will welcome Anthony Newman, piano/harpsicord and Guy Fishman, cello in what will be a stellar concert.
Described by Wynton Marsalis as "The High Priest of Bach" and by Time Magazine as "The High Priest of the Harpsichord," Anthony Newman returns to Kendal with a program that includes works by Handel, Beethoven, and Bach.
Newman will be making his second appearance at Kendal. With him will be Guy Fishman, principal cellist of Boston's Handel and Haydn Society. Among Fishman's teachers is Julia Lichten, daughter of Susan Lichten.
