On Monday evening, July 31 at 7:30 pm Kendal will present a lecture by Ronnie Golz on “Past, Present & Future of Berlin, Germany & Europe”.
The past begins with the end of World War II, Allied Occupation, the creation of two Germanys. The present begins with the reunification and the resulting problems. The future is about Germany and the European Union’s role economically and politically in today’s globalized world.
Mr. Golz will discuss these issues with residents in the Gathering Room. He holds a Diploma in Economics and Business School Teaching from the Universities of Berlin and Cologne. A freelance lecturer in adult education since 1970, he has been a keynote speaker on economics, politics, Jewish life and Holocaust commemoration in postwar Germany, the U.S., France, Britain, Ireland, Israel, and Italy.
