Everybody’s reading “The Legend”, namely, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Washington Irving’s immortal tale which is now 200 years old.
As part of the bicentennial celebration, Kendal residents are invited to read the story and then join a discussion group on Thursday, August 8, from 2 pm to 4 pm in the Administrative Conference Room.
To be facilitated by a member of the Historical Society of the Tarrytowns, the discussion group is limited to 20 participants. Be sure to sign up right away in the loose-leaf book on the Activities Alcove shelf.
