Jan Myers and her Trips Committee is at it again with an interesting hometown trip for those who are interested in the place where we reside.
On Wed., Sept. 18, participants will get a tour and an update of Sleepy Hollow with Mayor Ken Wray. This is a Free morning tour to give Kendal residents greater familiarity with the people and village of Sleepy Hollow; see diverse neighborhoods, downtown and the former G.M. site; learn about the village’s demographics and be updated on the progress of two very large development projects -- Edge on Hudson and the East Parcel --and their long-term effects. After a stop at Village Hall, enjoy an optional lunch at Kendal with the Mayor. Residents who have already taken this tour are excluded from participation
The Committee requests that you do not sign up for a trip unless you want to go so much that you are willing to keep the date free. If you do need to cancel for any reason, draw a line through your name on the list. The Trips Book is in the Activities Alcove across from the Computer Room.
