On Wednesday, October 23, the Trips Committee is planning a New York City “Do Your Own Thing” excursion with a drop-off at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Participants may visit the Museum or go wherever they wish. There are art galleries and other museums in the in the area. Some just meet friends and have lunch with them.
As usual, reservations are on a first-come basis. No one-way trips allowed.
Jan Myers, the Trips Committee’s Chairperson, notes that residents should not be discouraged if the wait list is extensive. Cancellations occur frequently.
Jan also notes that there is a short wait list for the October 2 Walkway Over the Hudson, Highland to Poughkeepsie trip.
