A Seasonal Poetic Pondering
February marks
the start
of annual replenishment,
like April showers
nourishing the rich array
of Kendal’s programs —
courses, lectures, concerts, films
and gatherings —
to stimulate and activate
our late life living, filled with
camaraderie and creativity.
And don’t forget the portion
set aside to benefit
the ambulance, police
and fire crews that keep us safe,
and the many groups that serve
a great diversity of neighbors
in our warm and welcoming community
of Sleepy Hollow.
