The Trips Committee has two trips for which there are short waiting lists which you will find below.
In addition, they wish to emphasize the procedures for trip sign-ups.
Short Wait List

Wednesday, February 19, Asia Society, New York: “The Art of Impermanence: Japanese Works from the John C. Weber Collection and Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller 3rd Collection”: a docent tour of an exhibition of masterpieces of calligraphy, painting, sculpture, ceramics, lacquers, and textiles from two of America’s greatest Japanese art collections.
Trip Sign-Up Procedures
* Sign-up sheets are usually posted on Fridays.
* The first 12 persons to sign up are confirmed on the trip. A trip can be fully booked the day it is announced or it can take weeks. When the trip is full, the wait list starts.
* Read the access section to see if the trip is suitable for you.
* Signing up for a trip is a commitment. Please check your calendar before signing up and keep the date free, no matter how far down the wait list you are. People often have to cancel.
* You are not permitted to sign up a friend. Residents may only sign themselves up; exceptions are spouses and aides/companions.
* If anyone will be away from Kendal all weekend or in Clearwater or the hospital (but thinks they will be well before the trip), speak to a Trips Committee member; they are the only persons authorized to sign up the resident.
