Two Important Concerts

The winter concert series at Kendal is well underway. In the next week we will have both the Kendal Chorale and a first-rate chamber music concert:

January 27 - “Songs for a Snowy Winter Evening”

Join the Kendal Chorale for its first concert with their new director Nell Macdonald. It will feature guest singers Randi Alberino, Graham Bobby, Regina Leon, and Will Robinson.  Mark Mitchell will be the accompanist.  Monday, January 27 at 7:30 pm in the Gathering Room.

February 2 - William Pennell Memorial Concert

 Bill Pennell appreciated art, food, wine, theater, opera, music and ballet. In honor of his full and memorable life, the family is sponsoring a memorial concert at 3 pm, Sunday, February 2, in the Gathering Room.  Performing will be Daniel Gilbert, clarinet; Xiao-Dong Wang, violin; Jeehae Lee, violin; Katarzuna Bryla-Weiss, viola; Wendy Sutter, cello. Works by Brahms, D'Rivera, Barber, Gould, and Mozart will be featured. A reception will follow the concert.
