Kendal continues its education program via its internal TV station Channel 1970 with Great Courses.
Museum Masterpieces: The Louvre starts Oct. 17/18 at 3:00 pm. The Louvre is considered the most famous art museum in the world with collections numbering in the millions.
Over six weekends, Professor Richard Brettell will lead us on a tour of the Louvre’s most famous curatorial department, the Department of Paintings, responsible for European paintings from the Middle Ages until the mid-19th century.
Prof. Brettell is the Margaret McDermott Distinguished Professor of Art and Aesthetics at The University of Texas at Dallas. Each lecture is 30 minutes long.
