The weekly Contemporary Issues Discussion Group meets every Thursday morning at 10 am.
In the past few weeks, the joyfully fractious participants have explored such topics as “Denial”, “Is Democracy Dying?”, “American Nationalism”, and “Is There Any Virtue In Being Virtuous?”
Waiting in the wings to be explored and torn apart are “Political Differences” and “Forgiveness”.
The participants are provided with information on the upcoming weekly topic on the Sunday prior to the discussion date .
