Members of the Horticulture Committee and helpers are in the process of planning the Residents’ Herb Garden. Here is a message from our horticulturists:
Please enjoy watching us work and then watching these small plants grow and thrive.
The garden, marked by a large dragonfly, will have the usual favorites such as mint and basil. There will also be parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme, along with lavender, oregano, and some surprises.
For the time being, enjoy anticipating the pleasure these wonderful plants will bring.
Please do not pinch or snip or pick any of the plants at this early stage. They need a chance to grow! We will be sure to let you know when they are ready to snip, which is usually around July 1.
