Life at Kendal is rarely still. However, that doesn’t keep our residents from gaining new skills. Drawing still life is one of them, So… how about a still-life drawing class?
The Still-life Drawing Workshop is to be taught by Emily Denise, a local artist and instructor who recently co-founded a studio called Main Street Atelier in Tarrytown.
The workshop will consist of two 40-minute Zoom sessions. Emily will guide the class through their own still-life setups and drawings. She will do a demonstration, answer questions, and offer critiques. The workshop is for beginning through advanced artists. Doing a workshop on Zoom will be a new experience for both the Art Committee and the teacher.
Dates: June 19 and June 20, 3:00-3:40 pm.
