While here at Kendal we cannot offer residents jobs at the New York Times or the Washington Post, we can put you to work at our own weekly news sheet Spotlight.
Spotlight is looking for a new editor or two. The aim of Spotlight is to provide complete and accurate information in the written form that many residents find helpful.
Each editor is responsible for a week’s issue. This involves taking input from the Spotlight email account and cubby and putting it into a standard format. Each issue is reviewed by the other editors before it is sent for printing.
Good computer skills are important. It would be helpful to have Microsoft Word.
This is a great way for newcomers to learn about all that is going on at Kendal. If you are interested, please contact Mary Lou Wells.
