On Sunday, October 17 at 3:00 pm, Kendal will host the Manhattan School of Music’s Erda Trio.
Making their Kendal debut, the Trio will perform a program of works by Bach, Turina, and Beethoven.
This new trio, composed of violinist Carlos Martinez, cellist Nicco Mazziotto and pianist Seth Schultheis, won the Lillian Fuchs Chamber Music Competition at the Manhattan School of Music and attended the Heifetz Institute’s prestigious Ashkenasi/ Kirshbaum Chamber Music Seminar, where they were coached by violinists Shmuel Ashkenasi and Nicholas Kitchen.
The program is being brought to Kendal through the efforts of the Music Committee chaired by Fran Kelly.
