Members of the Horticulture Committee and helpers are in the process of planting the Residents’ Herb Garden.
Residents are welcome to come and enjoy watching them work and then watching these small plants grow and thrive. The garden, marked by a large dragonfly, will have the usual favorites, such as mint and basil. There will also be parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme as well as lavender, oregano and some surprises.
For the time being, please enjoy anticipating the pleasure these wonderful plants will bring.
Please do not pinch or snip or pick any of the plants at this early stage. They need a chance to grow! We will be sure to let you know when they are ready to snip and pick, usually around July 1. Your patience will be rewarded.
