CATIE is not just a pretty female name but, in Kendal's case, stands for COMMUNICATION AND ACCESS TO INFORMATION EVERYWHERE. It's something new that a joint resident – management task force is looking into to improve the sharing of information throughout Kendal on Hudson.
More specifically, it is a communication, self-service, and resident engagement software that helps seniors connect with their community in various ways. This solution introduces an efficient way to keep residents informed of community happenings, while also keeping staff informed of residents' needs on a daily basis.
As noted above, CATIE is only at the "looking into" stage. It is a positive sign that Management and the Residents Association continue to explore all sorts of things that will make our lives better and easier.
