The Trips Committee next excursion will be to The Dreyfus Foundation, in Mt. Kisco on Wednesday July 27.
The collection in this museum comprises the works of self-taught and contemporary artists, and pieces from the Louis-Dreyfus Family Collection.
The mission of The Dreyfus Foundation, established in 2014, is to educate the public about art and to feature self-taught and emerging artists. It also supports the Harlem Children’s Zone that aims to end social injustice and improve lives of the disenfranchised.
Special exhibitions this summer: “Paintings by Observation” and “Animals with Attitude”. A docent tour is included. For more information, click here.
