Once a month on Wednesdays from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM, in the Residents Lounge there will be singing for everybody. You’re invited to come and join in.
July 20: Show Tunes
August 24: Folk Songs and a tribute to Pete Seeger.
Accompanying the group will be Sue Anderson, piano; Deb Wood, guitar and anybody else who wants to join in and play along.
Beginning on June 28 a new meditation group will be forming. They will meet on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 10:00 directly after morning stretch and right before the Tuesday Morning Club.
After the briefest welcome, residents will meditate in silence for 25 minutes. The purpose: a moment of calm and serenity (together) in our busy and sometimes pressured lives.
Anyone who is interested should contact Jane Hart.
The response will help to determine the location.
The Residents' Council has already approved this new interest group.
On Wednesday, June 29 a New York City "Do Your Own Thing" trip with a drop off at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is now scheduled.
There is also room on the June 22 Walkover the Hudson trip.

We can't promise you a "high" but if you want some real (but not terribly vigorous) exercise, get your racket out of the closet and join the Kendal tennis players.
Peter Davies and Steve Unger are recruiting new players. Join up! You'll have a (tennis) ball.
Ping Pong players now have their own room available 24/7. It's in the Hudson Room formerly known as the Woodworking Room.

The Westchester Mobile Shredder visits to Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown in June are on the Website Calendar of Events. A link to the shredder schedule is in the Government part of the Handy Guide in the INFO section of the website.
A Gilbert & Sullivan course is coming to Kendal on one more Tuesday in May on the 31. It will take place in the Gathering Room from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
Tuition for remaining sessions is $15.
