TV Channel.jpg

Those residents working on Kendal’s in-house TV Channel need your help.

Are you able to receive Channel 1970 in your apartment? If so, is the quality good enough to watch the movies, lectures and concerts which we program for this channel? Is the picture quality good enough? How often do you watch the channel?

Please share your experience and any comments you have on the channel with Arthur Brady. He will be delighted to receive your comments in English, Italian, French or Spanish.

Too Many!

Too Many.jpg

It’s a little like the gigantic meal you ate at Thanksgiving. It’s great to have eaten all those super-filling dishes but the gastric discomfort that follows caused the body to send out a cease and desist order.

The same thing has happened to the Kendal library. Not too much food…too many books!

The library has suddenly been inundated with bags and boxes of donated books. While we appreciate the generosity of our residents, we are only able to accept a few books at a time, normally recent ones in good condition.

Questions? Residents should contact Sue Adel or Sally Kellock.

Personal Growth Group Forming

Personal Growth.jpg

In addition to the wide range of stimulating activities offered at Kendal, some residents would welcome the opportunity to examine aspects of their lives and experiences in greater depth in a small-group setting.

With this goal in mind, a group of seven individuals will meet twice a month around an agreed-upon topic.

“Sharing Memories for Personal Growth” will be the initial theme.

Depending on the response from residents, additional groups may be formed.

The initial two-hour meetings are proposed for Saturday, December 8 and December 15, or for January 5 and January 12, 2019, at 10:30 am, in the Administration Conference Room (ACR), on the C level near the Robert Fulton bridge.

If you wish to join the group, please contact Myron Gordon.
