FIBER ARTS GROUP

The Fiber Arts Group meets from 2-4 pm on the second and fourth Fridays of each month in the Craft Room. The number of attendees varies, but they all are involved in various forms of fiber arts including weaving, knitting, needlepoint, crochet, rug hooking, etc.
We have presented programs given by professionals in the textile industry and people who are masters in a particular type of fiber art. Members of the group participate in the art exhibits on the Rue des Artistes and contribute to the community by knitting infant hats for the Open Door Medical Clinics.
