Kendal on Hudson is surrounded by nature, with one of the Rockefeller parks just next door. Our residents not only observe nature but want to add to it and treat the palette with it as well.
The Horticulture Committee will have its first spring meeting on Friday, April 28 in the Residents Association Office at 4:00 pm.
For the third year, this hardy group of growers will be planting a raised bed on the terrace where they will grow kitchen herbs. The plantings should be mature enough for residents' taste buds by the Fourth of July.
Residents who want to dig a little dirt (the real kind) are invited to join in. Just show up at the meeting.
