On June 17 Kendal will be very fortunate to welcome two great folk musicians of the modern variety. Pete and Maura Kennedy will visit and perform songs from their latest CD "Safe Until Tomorrow" at 3:00 pm in the Gathering Room.

This very talented couple have performed all over the world, released over a dozen CDs and were named Artists-in-Residence at the JFK Center for Performing Arts.
Maura's father Gordon Boudreau, a retired professor of American Literature, is a resident of Kendal's Skilled Nursing Facility. His book The Roots of Walden and the Tree of Life is available in the Kendal Library.
