Jan Myers, Chair of the ever-active Trips Committee, informed us that a July 25 trip to the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, CT has been scheduled.
The focus of the Aquarium is the protection of the Long Island Sound ecosystem.
In addition, the Aquarium features an Imax Theater where residents will see "Pandas", the story of a young Panda, born in captivity, learning to survive in the wild with help from Chinese and American biologists.
This film might be helpful for new residents who are learning to survive in the "wilds" of Kendal on Hudson.
Jan also advises us that there is a short wait-list for the June 21 Hudson River Cruise.
