The Kendal on Hudson Chorus will begin its Spring Rehearsals on Thursday, January 24 in the Gathering Room from 1:30 to 3:00 pm.
Whether you are a Soprano, Alto, Tenor or Bass, you are invited to try us out at the first two rehearsals before deciding whether to become a regular member, singing with us in the Spring.
Rehearsals are every Thursday at 1:30 pm. We arrive a few minutes early as vocal warm ups begin promptly at 1:30. Expert sight reading is not required.
The chorus is funded by the KOH Residents Council. We do, however ask each each singer to contribute $10 each season for the purchase of music.
We have the best director in Westchester County— Catherine Campbell Nesbit— who seems to like us! We are fortunate that Catherine also accompanies us during rehearsals, and we do have a professional accompanist, Mark Mitchell, for dress rehearsals and concerts. He is currently working on "Kiss Me Kate," as a Broadway accompanist How fortunate we are to be close to NYC.
