Hearing Loop Available

Resident Arthur Brady advises that if you use a hearing aid, you might be helped by the hearing loop installed in the KoH Gathering Room.

A hearing loop (sometimes called an audio induction loop) is a special type of sound system for people with hearing aids. It requires a telecoil, also referred to as a "t-switch" or "t-coil", to be inserted inside your hearing aids. In fact, such a coil may already be part of your hearing aids.

The coil picks up signals from the loop system. Hearing aids with an activated telecoil can convert this electromagnetic field into sound. Residents who are not sure how to make their hearing aids receive signals from the loop should consult with their audiologist.
