The Energy Bunnies at the Trips Committee announced a second January trip.

On Wednesday, January 15 there will be an excursion to the Katonah Museum of Art. It will feature "Sparkling Amazons," 30 works by women Abstract Expressionist artists in the 1940s and 1950s who exhibited at the Ninth Street Show of New York avant-garde artists in May 1951: Lee Krasner, Joan Mitchell, Elaine de Kooning, Helen Frankenthaler, and others.

There is also a short Wait List for Wednesday, December 18, Material Recovery Facility (Recycling), Yonkers: Free tour of Westchester County's major recycling center whose education center is newly updated; the tour includes operations viewed from the observation tower; a presentation and video; and the Recycled Material Art Gallery with works by local artists. Residents who signed up for the canceled October 30 trip have priority.

There is also a short Wait List for Wednesday, January 8, New York Historical Society, New York City. Four exhibitions explore: "Beyond Midnight: Paul Revere"; "Mark Twain and the Holy Land"; "Artist in Exile: The Visual Diary of Baroness Hyde de Neuville ( 1771-1849)"; and "Holiday Express" train show.
