Chess Club

A wise philosopher once said, “Unlike other games in which lucre is the end and aim, [chess] recommends itself to the wise by the fact that its mimic battles are fought for no prize but honor. It is eminently and emphatically the philosopher’s game.”

If you have a philosopher’s bone in your body, you will want to join up with Kendal’s Chess Club and enhance your list of things for which you can garner a dollop of honor.

Everyone is welcome to the Chess Club every Monday at 4:00 pm in Don Eder’s apartment (Doris also lives there).
If you need instruction on how to get there and what to expect, you should speak to Don, Wayne Richter, Len Andrew or Art Lukach. They’ll even help you improve your game.
