New Trip Announced

The Trips Committee announced a new trip for Thursday, Sept. 26. It will be to the Dia Beacon Museum, Beacon, NY.

Opened in 2003 in a former Nabisco box-printing factory overlooking the Hudson River, the museum has huge galleries with wonderful natural light and showcases modern and contemporary works by artists of the 1960s and 1970s to the present.

The permanent collection includes art by Richard Serra, Dan Flavin, Donald Judd, and Andy Warhol, and more recently Charlotte Posenenske, Lee Ufan and Sam Gilliam.

This excursion will fill up fast so get yourself to the Activities Alcove, look for the Trips Book and get on the list.
