The Trips Committee announced a new trip for Thursday, February 6, to the Jewish Museum, New York.
Exhibitions include “Edith Halpert and The Rise of American Art” (1900-1970), a trail-blazing art dealer who championed the work of Stuart Davis, Jacob Lawrence, Georgia O’Keeffe and Ben Shahn; and “Rachel Feinstein: Maiden, Mother, Crone” (1971-), three decades of the artist’s work as a sculptor, painter and in video, along with a panoramic wallpaper and a wall-relief; “Scenes from the Collection.”
