Participation in this year’s New Year’s Eve celebration was greater than ever before – for the residents and also the staff.
More than 150 residents watched the show, and more than 35 performed in it. Some 15 residents served on Sally Costa’s committee for party decorations and refreshments for our Champagne and Caviar Reception. And this year, for the first time, dinner featured waiter service for all.
The Kendal Singers, led by Bob Singleton, performed and were accompanied by Lila D’Adolf .
This year’s show, produced by Muriel Fox with co- producers Jo-Ann Rapaport and Harry Phillips, featured David Sampliner, Bill Rakower, Norman Sissman, Peter Limburg, Jane Hart, Roberta Poupon, Llyn Clague, and Frank Neuwirth. Eugene DuBow lowered our glittering silver ball to a loud countdown at Kendal Midnight, which is 9 pm.
