The always hard-working Trips Committee, under the leadership of Jan Myers, announced a Wednesday, Oct 20 trip to Lyndhurst in Tarrytown.
Lyndhurst is set high above the Hudson amid 67 acres, It was designed by an outstanding architect Alexander Jackson Davis, in the Gothic Revival style in two sections, 1838 and 1865, for two owners. Turrets, towers, stained glass windows, and original furnishings make this a special building
The estate takes its name from the many linden trees, and the grounds are splendid to explore, walk or drive through.

Tickets have been purchased and will be distributed on the van on the performance day. Participants will receive a refund of $2.50 for each opera for which they paid.
