Kendal’s Saturday Opera Program continues.
On February 26, you have an opportunity to see Kurt Weill’s political-satirical opera Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny (text by Bertolt Brecht) in the Metropolitan Opera’s famous production from 1979. The principal roles are sung by Teresa Stratas, Astrid Varnay, Richard Cassilly, Ragnar Ulfungand and Cornell McNeil; the conductor is James Levine.
