Where Do Our Philanthropic $$$ Go?”

On Monday evening, February 21, the Local Charities Committee will host a meeting at 7:30 pm in the Gathering Room.

Leaders of three organizations which we support will tell us about their work in the community. You will meet: Matthew Gullotta, President/Founder, Gullotta House; Francesca Spinner, President, Neighborhood House, Inc.; and Sara Mascia, Executive Director, The Historical Society, Inc. of Sleepy Hollow/Tarrytown.

Gullotta House assists residents who face financial or other hardships by providing food vouchers, educational scholarships, and other needed help.  Neighborhood House on Wildey Street in Tarrytown serves as the base for numerous daytime activities geared mainly toward older community residents. The Historical Society has been the keeper of the collective memories of the villages of Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown since 1889.

Please join us in the Gathering Room on February 21 to learn firsthand about the impact your generous contributions to the Council’s Annual Appeal make in our local community.
