Spring Art Workshop
Drawing or Painting a Memory
Instructor: Erin Carney (Sleepy Hollow resident)
The workshop explores personal narrative and memory in art. The instructor will guide participants through exercises designed to stimulate memory, generate images, and develop a visual vocabulary for use in creating a representational or abstract drawing or painting.
Participants can use a three-tone charcoal technique, ink, or mixed media.
Please bring a scrapbook, photos or personal memorabilia to prompt memories you wish to explore in your drawing. They will not be used in the artwork.
Two Sessions:
Friday, May 20 and Friday, May 27, 2:00 pm in the Art Room. Limited to 10 participants.
Cost: $25 for the two sessions.
