Resident Bill Lyons Sharing “Untold Facts of the WW II Aerial War over Nazi Germany” November 11, 2019

Bill flew 63 combat missions over Europe in his P-51 Mustang fighter plane during WW II, protecting B-17 and B-24 bombers over Germany, and his Veteran's Day lecture on the air war over Europe in 1944-45 was very well received. He has also been interviewed at Kendal by Dr. Richard Borkow for the Dobbs Ferry Historical Society and here is the link to that interview. As one resident who has seen it said, “We highly recommend that you watch it. It is well worth your time.”
