NEW: Vaccine Details
We feel that it is important to share that none of the Independent Living (IL)COVID cases experienced at Kendal on Hudson resulted from COVID-positive staff. It is our hope that, with this information, you will have confidence that our community is in a good place with a resident population that is 97% vaccinated. Staff were provided the opportunity to receive COVID-19 vaccines at the clinics held on site beginning December 23 through early March. Staff were educated, provided opportunity to ask questions, and were asked to consent to be vaccinated. In consideration of Kendal’s Values and Practices, coupled with the vaccine’s Emergency Use Authorization status, vaccines were not mandated. Ongoing education will be provided to staff and more opportunity to become vaccinated will be presented.
